An important Senate bill to be aware of is Senate Bill S1708A, which enacts the “bank of Rochester act,” whose purpose is to authorize the city of Rochester to establish and operate the Bank of Rochester to support local economic development initiatives such as improving infrastructure, supporting local businesses and addressing housing needs.
